How does Doublebase
Emollient Gel work?

Doublebase Emollient Gel forms a layer of oil in the upper layers of the skin which helps to trap moisture. The skin cells can absorb this moisture and swell, closing the cracks between them and slowing the water loss which makes skin dry.

Doublebase Emollient Gel also contains glycerol, a humectant, which helps to keep water within the skin.

As dry skin is ‘thirsty’, Doublebase Emollient Gel should be applied regularly (ideally 3 to 4 times each day if needed) to soften and moisturise the skin, making it smooth and supple. Continued use helps to maintain improvement.

It is important to ensure that emollients are used correctly to achieve the maximum benefit.
